- The Sun News-Pictorial, a morning tabloid in Melbourne, Australia for many years, until it merged with its afternoon broadsheet sister paper The Herald to form the Herald Sun. It is similar in scope to the UK Sun.
- The Sun (US tabloid) is also the name of a supermarket tabloid published in the United States by American Media, Inc. The first death during the 2001 anthrax attack was a photo editor of this paper who worked at their Boca Raton, Florida offices.
